LITTLE BYTES OF LIFE

Genealogy & Technology

About the Author

Elizabeth is a genealogist, freelance writer, and web developer who has been tracking her ancestors for nearly three decades. When not hunting ancestors, she enjoys testing new software and social media platforms. A former school teacher, Elizabeth was an avid promoter of technology in the classroom, and now teaches others how to use technology to enhance their research. She began writing the blog Little Bytes of Life in 2007 as a means of “communicating with humans over the age of 1,” though now her writing is mainly focused on genealogy and technology.

Elizabeth is the author of two genealogy blogs: “Little Bytes of Life,” and “The Graveyard Rabbit of the California Central Coast.” You can also find her hosting genealogy events in Second Life as the avatar “Ellington Sweeney,” and posting at Second Life Virtual Genealogical Society.
